Author and photographer Laurent Bagnard of Voiron, France, first met the Burbank Choppers Car Club members in 2004. Chopper member Verne Hammond says, “From the first meeting-on, there was mutual respect between us; we talked for hours of music, art, and culture. We found we had so much in common, although we lived half a world away.”
Bagnard is the founder and editor of PowerGlide, a hot-rod enthusiast magazine in France. He enjoys anything and everything from sketching, drawing, collecting, rebuilding, and photographing cars. He hopes this book will be a milestone in kustom culture.
