How long have you owned this vehicle?

My Father bought it in 1972, It's been mine for 15 Years.

Where/how did you find this vehicle

My Father bought it from Brooklyn American AMC in Brooklyn Park,MN in 1972. He Auto-Crossed it and Road Raced it with SCCA until the early 80's. In the late 80's it was stored in a warehouse in Minneapolis

and in 1987 we had what was called "The Storm of The Century". The car was almost all underwater from the flooding that occurred. We got the car home and got all of the damage fixed and I rebuilt the engine, trans, and rear end.

Any projects planned for this vehicle in the future?

I'm going to pull the engine and freshen it and use the build as part of my AMC engine book I'm working on for Car Tech Books :)

Has this vehicle won any awards?

It won trophies when it was raced by my Father, but none at car shows these days because nobody knows what it is and most people aren't familiar with Road Racing.

Have you raced it? If so, where and when?

I have had it to a few Vintage race events as well as track days at Road America and Brainerd International Raceway.

I love this car because I grew up with it, nobody knows what it is, and it will kill many modern cars at the track. It's also loud :)
